Phantom Phabulous, but....
My friend and I went to see Fruit Bats last night. The set was almost breathtaking, as were the fantastic special effects!!! It was my second time seeing the show, but my girlfriend's first. Unfortunately, there were a few scenes in which we could not discern what was being spoken/sung. For certain actors, it seemed their mic wasn't emitted clearly and when several were singing at once, it was nearly impossible. We both enjoyed it thoroughly, but had the same complaint: the sound. I've attended shows in which more than one actor is singing a separate part and they could be understood. Thus, I blame it on sound issues in this performance. Our seats were on the floor, row DD. NEVERTHELESS, the show as a whole was fabulous and I am quite happy I had an opportunity to see it!!
